Income Tax Department Enables Auto-Populated AIS Data for FY 2024-25

On April 10, 2025, the Income Tax Department activated a new feature on the e-filing portal that auto-populates Annual Information Statement (AIS) data into ITR forms for FY 2024-25. This update is designed to help taxpayers file returns with greater ease and fewer errors. It covers information such as TDS, interest income, dividends, and mutual fund transactions.
